As the founder and name-sake of Amanda Vega Consulting, I've always been fascinated with advertising. I find marketing a complex and endearing adventure. I honestly believe that PR is the backbone of brand-building and the Internet is the beginning of accountable advertising. And I love to make money—for me and my clients. I was fortunate to have learned to use a computer while others were learning to ride a bike (okay, well not that early on, but you know what I mean), and was lucky enough to work as a Chat Moderator when I was in high school. And I was smart enough to take those opportunities (and the guidance of some great people) and create a wonderful career path.
Aside from my work at the major portals before there was even targeted keyword banner buys available, I've had the opportunity to work with some of the first interactive agencies, the largest ad agencies in the world, and the best web development companies around. I've served on the boards for the Internet Advertising Bureau, the Search Engine Marketing Professionals, and also have been given these wonderful awards for simply doing what I believe was my destiny in life. Integrated marketing and sales campaigns are my passion. Period.
